  Comective H & P Series

These are monochlorotriazine reactive dyes. Due to single chlorine group they have low reactivity and hence requires severe conditions of fixation with cotton fabric. They can be applied on cotton fabric by both Dyeing and Printing Methods.

2 ) Jigger Dyeing Process

Load the goods on Jigger - 1 end
Set dyebath at room temp with required water + 0.5-1 g/l Camasequest N - 1 end
Add half the dye solution & run the fabric - 1 end
Add remaining half dye solution & run the fabric - 1 end
Start raising the temp & add 10% amount of the total salt in 2 ends - 2 ends
Add 30% of total salt in 2 ends - 2 ends
Add remaining salt in 2 ends - 2 ends
At 80° C run the fabric - 2 ends
Add soda at 80° C 1/2 the amount - 1 end
Add remaing half amount of soda & run the fabric - 1 end
At 80° C run the fabric - 4 ends
Cold wash - 2 ends
Hot wash - 2 ends
Soaping at boil - 2 ends
Hot Wash - 2 ends
Cold water - 2 ends
Total - 28 ends
In case of dark shades salt can be added portion wise, as per Exhaust Dyeing Method.

Printing Method :

(1) Print - Dry - Steam

Recipe Camective 'H & P' Dyes - X Part
  Urea - 100 Parts
  Sodium Alginate (4-6%) - 400 Parts
  Resist Salt - 10 Parts
  Soda-Bicarbonate - 15 Parts
  Water - Rest
  Total - 1000 Parts

Process :-

Mix dye with urea and add warm water and stir well. To this solution add Sodium Alginate and Resist salt and stir well. Add predissolved sodium bicarbonate just prior to printing.

Print the fabric and dry. Then steam the dried fabric at 100-102°C for 7-15 minutes Finally wash the fabric and dry. If required can give dye fixing treatment. If high temperature steam is used of temp 110-150°C then steam for 5-3 minutes depending on temperature.

(2) Print - Dry - Bake - Wash - Dry

Recipe Camective 'H & P' Dyes - X Part
  Urea - 150 Parts
  Sodium Alginate (4%) - 400 Parts
  Resist Salt - 10 Parts
  Soda ash - 15 Parts
  Water - Rest
  Total - 1000 Parts

The fabric is printed with above print paste and dried. The dried goods are then baked on follows.

Parameters Cotton Viscose
Temperature 140° c 200° c 150° c 200° c
Time 5 min. 1 min. 5min. 1min.

Note : For printing with T. Blue H5G and Red Brown H4R use sodium Bicarbonate instead of soda ash. For Black HN higher amount of soda ash is used upto 30 gms/lit.

(3) Print - Dry - Pad Batch - Wash - Dry

Recipe Camective 'H & P' Dyes - X Part
  Urea - 100 Parts
  Resist Salt - 10 Parts
  Sodium Alginate Paste (4%) - 500 Parts
  Water - Rest
  Total - 1000 Parts

The Fabric is printed with above print paste and dried. It is then padded through sodium. Silicate solution of 100 -102° Tw and kept overnight and then washed and dried.

Note : Generally 2 g/l of Sodium Alginate is recommended while padding through alkali to avoid migration.

General Washing Method

In order to achieve maximum fastness properties a proper wash off is essential for the dyed and printed goods.

Minutes
10 Rinse Cold
10 Rinse Warm
15-30 Soap at the boil. For Very heavy depth shades soaping required twice.
10 Rinse Warm
Rinse Cold until clear solution is obtained.

For Medium to heavy shades an after treatment with 1 - 2 g/l dye fixing agent is given at room temperature (40°C at acidic pH of 6- 5.5 to improve fastness properties.)
